 Hotel Description:

For rooms with a view, especially in a quiet, residential area of Manhattan, the Bentley is the perfect bet, allowing guests to experience Manhattan chic on the Upper East Side like something out of an Ol' Blue Eyes song. The bar specializes in mojitos and martinis. The Bentley also lies seven blocks from Central Park and its more than 800 acres of lakes, woods, gardens, ravines, and paths for biking, jogging and walking. While typical Manhattan hotel rooms usually offer only views of adjacent buildings, the Bentley offers unobstructed views of the East River and the city. Perfect for visitors on a mission to shop until they drop, the Bentley Hotel on Manhattan's tony Upper East Side is conveniently located to the world-famous shopping meccas, Blommingdale's and Barney's New York, and the Madison and Fifth avenue stores. Situated in a pleasant residential area, the Bentley overlooks the East River and 59th Street Bridge, which guests can view from the rooftop restaurant. Guest rooms boast a simple, contemporary décor, and come equipped with Belgian linens, CD players, dual-line phones with Internet access, and marble bathrooms. For dining, the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar dishes up, among a full menu of items, Penne Vodka, a blend of vodka, cheese, tomato and sweet cream. What's more, patrons returning after a day of shopping or museum hopping can relax in the cozy library with a 24-hour complimentary cappuccino bar. The island includes a farmhouse build in the late 1700s and an 1800-era church and light house. For the adventurous and curious, guests can take an aerial tramway five blocks from the hotel to the East River's Roosevelt Island, which is actually home to 8,000 people. Back at the Bentley, guest will enjoy complimentary breakfasts, concierges, laundry services and other accommodations.
